HOW TO VOTE IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION
TUESDAY, AUGUST 11th
VOTING IN-PERSON ON ELECTION DAY
Polling locations in Minnesota will be open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11th and as long as you are in line by 8:00 PM and remain in line, you will be able to vote.
Minnesota allows eligible voters to register to vote on Election Day. If you aren’t registered to vote within 21 days of Election Day, you must register at your polling location on Election Day.
VOTING EARLY IN-PERSON
Early voting in Minnesota will begin Friday, June 26th and run through Monday, August 10th, the day before Election Day. Early voting hours and locations vary by county.
Ramsey County
During weekdays from Friday, June 26th to Monday, August 10th, early voting hours will be from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Ramsey County Elections will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, the day before the 4th of July. Ramsey County voters can vote early during this period at the following locations:
Plato Building (90 Plato Blvd W, Saint Paul, MN, 55107)
Washington County
During weekdays from Friday, June 26th to Friday, August 7th, early voting hours will be from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. On Saturday, August 8th, early voting hours will be from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. And on Monday, August 10th, early voting hours will be from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Washington County voters can vote early during these periods at the following locations:

Washington County Government Center (14949 62nd Street North, Stillwater, MN, 55082)
VOTING BY MAIL
To vote by mail, you can request to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. Absentee mail ballots returned via mail must be received by your county elections office by 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you’re returning your absentee mail ballot in-person, it must be turned in by 5:00 PM on Election Day.
